Extension Source Downloader is a free tool for downloading the source code for chrome extensions.
You can download the source code for your extensions in two different formats:
.zip - the most common format, which is compatible with many different software platforms, including iOS, Mac, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox Live, Xbox One, and Android devices.
.crx - a newer, more secure, and more customizable format. It is compatible with Windows only.
If you want to download the source code for an extension, open the toolbar popup, find the extension you want to download, open the input field, and add the URL for the active tab.
